Today I signed up for a running program called "No Boundaries" with a local running shop! eeek!
It starts March 22nd and runs through May 31st and we meet once a week... and it's for running newbies! At the meetings we will go through a training plan together and have weekly coached runs. The coach will also teach us proper running techniques. I need that! In the past, I just jumped on the treadmill and ran until I got tired... which was usually after only a few minutes. :-( I always get stitches in my side too so I know I'm not breathing properly. Hopefully I'll learn some good breathing techniques too.
On May 31st (last day of class) we run a 5K together. It should be interesting...
Anyway, I figured since I haven't been able to self-motivate to run, this would give me the push I need. We'll see how it goes...

Good Luck! I'm not a runner at all, so I admire anyone who runs. I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteHave you seen this web site? This woman makes WW friendly recipies. I've tried some of them, and they've turned out really well. Hopefully you find something you like:)

hi Shana,
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing the link! it's awesome! which ones have you tried and liked?
I have made the shrimp with tomatoes and asparagus, and the chicken santa fe. I understand from another woman in my WW meetings the cauliflower fritters are pretty good too. She also had a spinach salad with a really good dressing that I liked too. That might help change up your salads a little bit too.
