WW Weigh-In Day: Uh oh, my over-consumption has caught up with me

Official WW weigh in = 128.0 lbs

Yep, that's right. I GAINED 0.2 pounds this week. :-(

I've still lost 10.2 pounds so far, so my WW leader didn't try to take away my 10 pound sticker, but I wonder what would have happened if I had gained 0.5 pounds. Would she have revoked my sticker?? That would have been really embarrassing.

I shouldn't have been surprised that I had gained weight considering I went over my daily points 6 out of 7 days and probably way over my weekly 35 flex points as well... but I was still surprised to see a gain. I know I may sound delusional, but since I had still been weighing myself (albeit in my PJs with an empty stomach first thing in the morning) and I was still down from my last official weigh-in, I just assumed I'd still come in under. ::::sigh:::: I was wrong. :-(

ok, Rose, don't collapse. You've just had a small lapse. I can do better next week!!!

Although....I'm worried that I might over eat this weekend. I'm going up to NJ this weekend to spend time with a close friend of mine who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. She is having a double mastectomy on Monday so I wanted to go up and smother her with love and to take care of her before she has her surgery.

I also want to fatten her up b/c she's a tiny little thing and I know with the impending surgery and subsequent treatments, she will probably start losing a lot of weight. I want her to be strong, so I plan on making some hearty home-cooked meals for her.

I hope I won't be too tempted to join in on the hearty meals, but rather fill up on my low point value "filling foods". That means I plan on eating a lot of salad. and beans.

While everyone else eats homemade lasagna, homemade pizza, homemade Italian chicken stew, french toast, waffles, and lots of bacon. :-(

But I'm being sneaky and I will be using turkey pepperoni for the pizza, turkey bacon for breakfast, and lowfat cheeses for the lasagna and pizza. I will also take the skin off the chicken before I make the stew. :-)
