Week 8, Day 5 (Monday, Jan 11, 2010)

Weight = 127.4 pounds (in PJs on an empty stomach)

I'm relieved to see that I haven't gained too much weight since my food-fest weekend. Since I weighed myself first thing in the morning while wearing PJs and on an empty stomach, had this been a WW weigh-in day, I'm thinking I might have been up 0.4 pounds or so. eeek.

Although I shouldn't complain considering how much I ate this weekend. I'm just surprised I didn't gain more.

Maybe it's because even though I ate more than I normally would while on WW, I was still very conscious and aware of what I was eating? I'm sure it helped that I limited myself to just a couple of bites of the good stuff (birthday cake and apple crostada) and tried to fill up on the veggies and lean protein (even the the lean protein was in a butter sauce, oops!) and stuck to 1 serving portion sizes of the pasta. (1 cup = tennis ball came in handy!)

And Thank God for the 35 flex points!!!

today I'm back to my usual breakfast and Lean Cuisine lunch, but I'm meeting a friend for dinner in Baltimore tonight so it may be tough to stay within my points again. :-(

We'll see how it goes...
