I used the list! I cleaned my closet and avoided temptation

Instead of grabbing a snack b/c I was bored, I decided to consult my list of "Things to do instead of emotional eating" and organized my closet instead.

It took 3 hours. My closet was a mess.

I ended up with two kitchen-sized garbage bags of clothes for Goodwill (or a yard sale if I get around to it) and one garbage bag of clothes to toss. I also organized all of my dresser drawers. It took so long b/c I tried on almost everything I haven't worn in awhile to see if they fit or if it was still worth keeping.

It took forever, but it was really gratifying! By the time I was finished, I was physically hungry and not just emotionally hungry. :-)

  1. Looks good! I wish I could get my closet to stay that neat! DH just tosses things where he wants. I clean it on every break I have from school, but it doesn't stay that way for long.

    I tried the Beef Stew recipe over the weekend. It was amazing! Thanks so much for that. I am making your Baked Ziti recipe tonight too.
